Bells in the grey sky

The Federation Bells were commissioned to celebrate Australia’s Centenary of Federation in 2001. The 39 computer-controlled bells range in size from a small handbell to a bell that stands 1.8m high and weighs 3.5 tonnes. The bells ring at intervals throughout the day and located in Birrarung Marr Park.

To hear the bells sound please click this link : Federation Bells ( The sound of this bells reminded me about the sound of Ice cream bells : )

Enjoy the speed

Someone told me, there have a skate park in the city. It's in Alexandra Garden so I walked along the southern bank of the Yarra River then I saw the large all concrete skate park with big box and big ledges. So many kids and teens were there and enjoy their speed. I guess no speed limit : )

See the link if you would like to go there : Riverslide Skate Park

The hidden park

Newport Lakes Parkland is set right in the middle of one of Melbourne’s suburbs, Newport.

I went to Newport Lakes Park this morning. For me this is a hidden place... is a bushland oasis in the middle of Newport, and it is not far from the city
