Hand of God

This bronze sculpture is located in the lawns of The Sidney Myer Music Bowl  and it is called "Hand of God" by Carl Milles.
This sculpture "Hand of God" is from 1954 and is one of Milles' most well-known sculptures. It can be found in different parts of the world, in Australia, in USA, in Japan and Indonesia. The original, however, is in Sweden.

Very interesting subject. I wish I knew which part of Australia. If in Sydney, where could it be?

Thanks for the visit.

A wonderful sculpture, well presented. I love the implication of the body posture with tilted head looking up into the eyes of God ... as if asking "Really?".
