Strong wind and rain batter Victoria Last Night





Emergency services in Victoria have received about 500 calls for help since midnight as strong winds and rain batter the state.

Wind gusts up to 110 kilometres per hour are being recorded, damaging trees, powerlines and buildings

Indeed, even on the Mornington Peninsula it was a rugged night! I woke up several times with the roar of the wind! But no damage in my area! Great shot!

Oh my, that's a lot of wind. We get a couple of storms like that each winter and spring and they can be quite frightening.
