Bells in the grey sky

The Federation Bells were commissioned to celebrate Australia’s Centenary of Federation in 2001. The 39 computer-controlled bells range in size from a small handbell to a bell that stands 1.8m high and weighs 3.5 tonnes. The bells ring at intervals throughout the day and located in Birrarung Marr Park.

To hear the bells sound please click this link : Federation Bells ( The sound of this bells reminded me about the sound of Ice cream bells : )

I love the sound of bells, but I've only seen and heard them as church bells. This is the most unique array of bells that I have ever seen. I like it.
