Common bird & the native tree

Winter in Melbourne, leaves change color and fall off the trees but some trees like the pink flowers gum ( Rosea ) has so many blossoms of flowers to attract the birds.

I got this shot from my work place's front yard. Two kinds of bird was there. One is The Red Wattlebird and another is Lorikeets. But the Lorikee's photos are blur so this is the bird who choose to be seen : )

The Red Wattlebird is the second largest honeyeater in Australia ( the Tasmanian Yellow Wattlebird is the largest ) and it is the common bird to see in Melbourne backyard.

Wattlebirds are beautiful. I've got a family or two of them living around my house and I love seeing and hearing them.
