Aurora
Aurora named after the Roman goddess of the dawn, Aurora's inverted cargo net makes a symbolic connection to Docklands' history as Victoria's most important port.
Aurora' is a 14 metre high stainless steel piece commissioned by the State Government. A crucial element in Geoff Bartlett's design was that 'Aurora' should present strikingly different characters by day and by night, is lit from within to create a glowing orb floating above the street. The piece encourages pedestrians to walk through it's legs and look upwards, to " focus their attention away from the everyday and to reflect upon the work and the sky beyond "

The Old Former Prahran Arcade
The old Former Prahran Arcade is on Chapel street. Built in 1889 is a richly detailed building both externally and internally in beautiful Victorian Baroque style. Retains the original arcade, but decorative roof was removed in the 1950s. Also known locally as "Birdland" due to pigeons which once bred in the recessed balconies of the building and the large eagles which adorn the facade. Was a Dan Murphy's cellar for many years, but currently a JB Hifi store and the clothing store.
I think most of the people when they look up and see this, They will wish the same as me that someone would restore it but there hasn't been any thread for long time until now. That is a sad thing for me.

Headwear for men
I like the window display of this hat shop. They love to change the display. The location is just next to Flinder Station but you have to look down a little bit. Normally, people just walks passed ( get in / out the station ). May be that's why they have to keep people attention by often changed the display.

On the train and look at Immigration Museum
The Immigration Museum opened in November 1998 as a new campus of Museum Victoria in the refurbished Old Customs House.
The Immigration Museum aims to take visitors on a journey to discover the many dimensions of the migration experience from the 1800s through to the present day. The Museum is unique to Victoria in both its subject matter and through the emotional, personal responses it evokes from visitors. The Museum offers visitors an opportunity to gain an understanding of their own traditions as well as Australia's rich and diverse cultural heritage.
The mission of the museum is to record and interpret the immigration experience of people to Victoria and Australia, and to promote and celebrate our cultural diversity and resulting Australian identity.
